No prior experience is required, whether physical or scientific, as the program is tailored to the group being guided. The only prerequisite is curiosity!
Two formats to fit your schedule.
Half-Day discovery tour
Approx. 3 hours – Morning or afternoon – 1 to 40 participants
- Guided tour of a natural geological site: Aiguille du Midi or Mer de Glace Glacier
- Introduction to geology, glaciology, climatology, and mountain ecosystems
- Scientific presentation in layman’s terms
- Educational materials (charts, historical archive photos, etc.)
- Option to include a quiz for a more interactive session
- Non-physical activity, accessible to absolutely everyone
Full-day immersive experience
Approx. 6–7 hours – Full day – 1 to 40 participants
- Morning: Guided tour of a natural geological site: Aiguille du Midi or Mer de Glace Glacier
- Picnic in the mountains (not provided)
- Afternoon: Guided hike with landscape interpretation
- Scientific presentation in layman’s terms
- Educational materials (charts, historical archive photos, etc.)
- Option to include a quiz for a more interactive session
- Physical activity suitable for beginners but not recommended for people with health issues
