How long will it take me to get back to you ?
I personally respond to every message within 24 hours, unless I'm out in the mountains with no cell service. For urgent requests, please call or use WhatsApp. I usually respond at the end of the day, after I've finished hiking.
Is it possible to plan a completely customized trip ?
Yes ! In fact, that’s one of my specialties. You choose the destination, the duration, the difficulty level, the type of accommodations, the number of participants… I’ll tailor the trip to your specifications. I’ll quickly send you a detailed proposal, and if you approve it, our adventure together can begin !
How do I sign up and pay ?
For day trips and scientific presentations, an email confirmation from you is all I need. You can then pay me directly in cash or by bank transfer.
For trips, I work with a trusted “accommodation provider”: Mountain Access (https://www.mountainaccess.fr/). Jean-François, the director, handles the financial aspects of my trips. Once we’ve agreed on the plan, you’ll register with Mountain Access. You can pay by direct debit or bank transfer, by check, with vacation checks (2.5% surcharge), or in cash. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your spot. The balance is due 30 days before departure. I live in Chamonix, in Haute-Savoie, at the foot of Mont Blanc—the natural starting point for mountain adventures. I’d be happy to welcome you there for day trips or guided tours of sites such as the Aiguille du Midi or the Sea Ice's Glacier.
But My guided tours know no borders. I work on every continent, wherever there are active volcanoes to admire and extraordinary mountains to explore.
